OnlyEat® values your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data collected through its mobile application, available on Android and iOS. This privacy policy describes the data we collect, how it is used, stored, shared, and your rights, in compliance with Google Play, the App Store, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal Data Collected via the Mobile App
When using the OnlyEat mobile application (Android & iOS), we collect the following data:
- Geolocation: to enable delivery to your location.
- Account creation: first name, last name, email address, phone number.
- Order history: items ordered, date, time, amount, restaurant.
- Payment information: payments are processed via Peach Payment. We do not store your banking data on our servers.
- Technical information: phone model, operating system (Android or iOS), language.
- Usage data: via Firebase (page views, clicks, errors, usage statistics).
Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- To provide the delivery and ordering service
- To create and manage your customer account
- To process payments and orders
- To send push notifications (order tracking, offers)
- Internal statistics to improve the app
- Fraud prevention and service security
In accordance with Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), processing is based on: performance of a contract (order, payment, delivery management); your consent (push notifications, geolocation); our legitimate interest (service improvement); and legal obligations (data retention for tax purposes).
Data Sharing
Your data may only be shared with:
- Our technical service providers (notably Peach Payment for transactions)
- Firebase for analytics, bug tracking, and push notifications
- Our delivery partners via the app solely for delivery execution
The application uses Firebase, a Google service, which may collect certain technical or usage data to improve stability, performance, and user experience. This data is anonymized and not used for advertising purposes. Firebase is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the application. No personal data is sold to third parties.
Security and Hosting
Data is hosted by Cloud.mu, a service provider based in Mauritius, in secure data centers. We implement all necessary technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information.
Data Retention
- Account data: as long as the account is active or until deletion is requested
- Order data: 5 years for accounting and tax purposes
- Technical data: maximum of 12 months
Use by Minors
The OnlyEat app is not intended for individuals under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@onlyeat.co to request its deletion.
User Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the requirements of the App Store and Google Play, you have the following rights: access to your data, rectification, deletion, objection, and data portability. You can exercise your rights by writing to support@onlyeat.co. We are committed to responding within 30 days.
Account Deletion
You may request the deletion of your user account by contacting our support team at support@onlyeat.co. A direct account deletion option will soon be available in the app settings (My Account > Delete my account), in accordance with the requirements of the Google Play Store and the App Store. In the meantime, account deletion is available upon request.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated at any time. The revision date will be indicated at the top of this page. We encourage you to check it regularly.
Compliance with Store Requirements
This policy is written in accordance with the privacy requirements of Google Play (User Data Policy) and Apple’s App Store (App Store Review Guidelines – Section 5.1). It also complies with the GDPR.
